If you are looking for a product option that allows you to still enjoy your view all the while protecting you and your family from the sun’s harmful UV rays, the sunweave are the perfect window treatment for you.

You must then ask yourself, how much visibility do you want while the shade is down? Well there are two factors that you may want to consider when answering this question. One factor is the style because both Classic and Tokyo sunweaves have the lowest density giving it a higher visibility percentage. Next in line is the Barcelona, which has a very nice threading detail compared to the Milan, Miami and Manhattan. Last, but not least, is our Dubai option; it has the most density giving it the least amount of transparency. Another thing you may consider is the coloring you are choosing because a light color such as white is great for bouncing off UV rays and heat from sunlight, but because of the reflector scenario with the sunlight it is actually harder to see out of a light color than a dark color. Now because of this, these kinds of shades are like “sunglasses for your window,” as said by Shannon Brady, a Blinds To Go Design Consultant.

Going with a sunweave (or a roller shade in general), you have one more decision to make, spring roller or sidewinder? The spring roller is a less expensive cordless option that allows you to pull “close to” the location that you wish. The sidewinder, however, is an easier working mechanism that allows you to choose the exact spot you want to go. In my opinion, the sidewinder is the better out of the two when there are multiple roller shades next to one another, and you are trying to line them up.

So if you’re looking for an option that allows you to have your cake and eat it too, sunweaves are your go to option this year.
