rosalie_white_019One can incorporate a hint of floral into their decor while maintaining a consistent look by combining different styles of the same fabric or pattern.

In more open-concept spaces where it might be hard to divide the areas while still maintaining a uniform look throughout, using similar patterns in different contexts open up possibilities for window treatments.

For example, a Versailles or Ballet style roller blind can be used on a patio door while a Versailles or Ballet pleated shade can be used on windows in adjacent rooms. A traditional alternative may be to apply Dover or Camelot vertical blinds to a patio door and the coordinating 2″ vinyl horizontal to other windows in the space. Fabric tapes and coloured trim on a Single Majestic valance can be used to enhance the colour and tie the whole look together.

For those who like more subtle floral options, an Arbor style roller or even a Rosalie pleated shade will give the right amount of pattern and texture to the space without taking away from the decor of the room. For a bolder option where the window treatment is the focal point of the decor, a Versailles or Ballet classic roman would be the perfect choice.
Combining different styles of blinds of the same pattern and colour to bring great decor ideas together will create the perfect space.
